Multicraft Maintenance Technician

Location: Hartsville, South Carolina

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities, along with the flexibility to tackle diverse equipment repairs and preventive maintenance. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring a safe and efficient production environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems including motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, PLCs, and sensors.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on a wide variety of industrial machinery and facility systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to determine proper installation and repair procedures.

  • Install, align, and balance new equipment or machinery.

  • Diagnose and correct electrical issues in 480V, 240V, and 120V systems.

  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to prevent recurring failures.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure minimal impact on operations.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.

  • Minimum [X] years of experience in a multi-craft industrial maintenance role.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [50] lbs regularly.

  • Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions including heat, cold, and high-noise areas.


Full Time

Pay will be $15.00-$20.00 based on experience.

Hours Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Overtime is mandatory

Pay Details: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
