Cabling Network Coordinator

Olsten Staffing is currently helping with recruiting for a Network Cabling Coordinator. The Network Cabling Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of network cabling systems. This role involves ensuring that all network cabling projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Monday-Friday

40 Hours weekly

$18.00 Hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination:

  • Plan and schedule network cabling projects.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.

• Installation and Maintenance:

  • Oversee the installation, termination, and testing of network cabling, including CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables.

  • Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to network cabling systems.

• Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Identify and resolve network issues related to cabling.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.

  • Document network layouts, hardware types, and wiring connections.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct quality checks on installed cabling systems.

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and client specifications.

  • Implement best practices for network cabling installations.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in network cabling preferred.

  • Proven experience in network cabling installation and project coordination.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of network architecture and cabling systems.

  • Proficiency with tools and equipment used in network cabling.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
