OLSTEN STAFFING IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR TECHNICAL OPERATORS IN THE BETHUNE, SC AREA. THE HOURS ARE 8PM - 8AM AND PAY RATE IS $18 - $22.31 PER HOUR.

  • Required to work cycle schedule and 12 hours shifts, 4 days on 4 off

  • Manufacturing experience required.

  • Strong troubleshooting/problem solving and team skills are essential.

  • Must become multi-skilled and obtain certification in the Skill Matrix within the required time.

  • Mathematical aptitude is essential.

  • An ability to work with internal and external customers professionally.

  • Strong knowledge and application of quality standards and testing.

  • Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Must have initiative and be willing to lead projects to improve plant safety, quality, and performance.

  • Must work as a team member and team leader in self-directed teams with little supervision.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Must be able to obtain fork truck and aerial lift license.

  • Must have a valid DRIVER’S LICENSE.

  • Must be dependable and at work when scheduled.

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

  • Must demonstrate the ability to work from written work orders and PMs.

  • Must perform basic mechanical equipment maintenance.

  • Lubricate, clean, align and replace rolls, filters, motors, gearboxes, and pumps on production machinery.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct mechanical problems.

  • Must ensure product quality standards are maintained; evaluate work-in-process & finished goods, with limited guidance.

  • Analyze quality data to determine the release of material, perform non-conformance reporting for an out-of-specification product, and make corrections on the line.

  • Performs Basis Weight, Thickness, and Tensile quality testing on nonwovens material; calibrates testing equipment.

  • Must be willing to be a team point coordinator for safety, quality, maintenance, process, etc., as needed.

  • Must comply with and follow all safety and environmental rules and plant regulations.

  • Assess production machinery/equipment problems and identify the root cause(s).

  • Perform housekeeping in the work area to promote a safe working environment.

  • Must be able to operate all equipment safely.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.31 per hour
