Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team!
An accounts payable clerk is responsible for a company's financial transactions and outflow of capital. Their duties include but are not limited to the following:
Processing invoices: Verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness and entering them into the system.
Paying bills: Processing payments to vendors and ensuring bills are paid on time.
Reconciling accounts: Reconciling accounts payable statements and supplier statements.
Resolving issues: Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
Reporting: Generating periodic reports related to accounts payable.
Responding to inquiries: Answering accounts payable queries and responding to inquiries from vendors and internal staff.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Education and Experience:
Pay rate for this position is $16 -$18 based on experience.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
